uth nation-lima,peru day 2

June 13th, 2009

captains log: tatty has gone  missing……. just kidding sizzy. well day 2 in peru we went to chorrillos and on the ride there we saw great views of the mountains and ocean. when we arrived in chorrillos we went to the mountains and helped the children service. the girls were jumping rope and hoola hooping with younger girls while the MEN were being destroyed by the two foot menaces that were extrenely lovable and not really menaces. We performed some improv skits for the kids about David and Goliath, and lazarus’ ressurection. The kids loved it, especially phil being destroyed by toilet paper.

Now, on a serious note, Jose, Roger, and Phil did the craziest thing ever! You won’t even believe what they did, and you won’t find out this blog. Tune in next week…

Just kidding! The guinea pigs didn’t even stand a chance. They were torn apart by the jaws of these ruthless beings. And what was their reply to this? “Taste like chicken, honestly”.

To all the worried parents out there, Sizzy, Arlene, and Clari, your children are not able to get in touch cause Peru does not believe in phone connection. So don’t worry, Jose is watching over us… DUH DUH DUUUUH! Stay tuned for nightly blogs and updates. Sleep tight peoples, and we love you all. Keep the prayers rolling in. Eli out.

Well everyone after a long delay at the airport we have finally arrived here in lima and got safely to the bible college. The airplane food was great and we all had a great time. So far jose has eaten vicks toxic capulets and we still have yet to see what he’ll eat next. Other than a safe landing tatty conquered her fears of flying without fainting. also we are very thankful for pastor john bonner for picking us up at such a late hour in a sweet van from the 70s we are very greatful and feel welcomed. Thanks for all the prayers for a safe flight we sincerely ask you keep us in your prayers thanks again
