Pray

The work of God depends on prayer. Prayer crosses geographical boundaries. Would you pray for these missionaries who are serving the Lord? As you do, it’s like you are going to their country and standing right next to them and helping them witness, love, teach, build or whatever they may be doing. You are doing it with them!

Encourage

Like all of us, missionaries need encouragement. Many are away from family and friends and even a familiar church. Writing an email to let them know you’re praying, baking some cookies, or sending them a gift could brighten a tough day for them. Please let us know before mailing any packages overseas, so we can clarify any issues with customs.

Go

Consider taking a short missions trip. From time to time, CCK plans short, seven to fourteen day missions trips to go and help make disciples alongside a partner ministry. God can use you! Maybe he’ll call you to go to Peru or Africa or Brazil or _____________?????

Uproot

Do you believe God is calling you to have a career as an overseas missionary but need a little direction and help? The needs of God’s church around the world are astounding, and God has given each of us a unique set of skills to help meet the need. Some of us are called to be like Abraham, who left his home and moved to another country to fulfill God’s plan. If this is you, please let us know so that we can pray for you and so that we can help facilitate the process of becoming a long-term ministry. We are here to serve you!

Help

The Missions Ministry at CCk can use help in compiling prayer requests, developing media, and working on special projects, such as a Missionary World Map display, and writing “Missions Minutes” announcements. You can use your gifts here to bless others there.
